I'm getting some really good feedback regarding movies depicting strong women. There is definitely a distinction between movies that portray women as capable, independent beings and films where men are shown as inept boobs. So, I would like to know what movies you enjoy that portray men in their best light. I love movies where the men are strong, courageous, protective and respect women. The problem is, I can't seem to think of very many of these films right now. Can you help me out? Some of my favorites:
Pride and Prejudice
The Pursuit of Happyness (One of the few where the woman is the dawg)
Finding Neverland
Flyboys (A totally underrated film, in my opinion!)
Facing the Giants
Sweet Home Alabama (It is why I have a crush on Josh Lucas!)
Glory Road (It is why I LOVE Josh Lucas!)
....now I'm all swoony. Good men are so wonderful!
