Answered Prayer

Friends, I whined about my back hurting a few days ago. Well, someone or someones got busy and prayed for me! I know this for sure because last night I had the most peaceful sleep I have had in ages and I woke up with nary a twinge of discomfort in my back.

It is easy to be grateful for things like this when they happen, then get caught up with the busyness of life and forget to acknowledge the loving attention God pays to us. He hears us when we call, and when others call on our behalf.

So, to those of you who prayed even though I didn't ask, Thank You! And to the God of the universe, who set the stars in place, who formed mountains in the blink of an eye and who brought us life through his very breath: Thank you for seeing one daughter and gently easing her pain. To God be the glory!
