I'm not sure this will be a regular event here, but I saw these in Target this afternoon and felt compelled to share. Throughout my high school years, I worked at an ice cream shop in Pismo Beach, California. Through the process of trial and error I learned the best and worst of everything ice cream-related. I can make the best ice cream treats ever; root beer floats, sodas, sundaes...you name it, I can make it and it will be delicious. I say this to make it very clear that this opinion comes from an expert in the industry. Sort of.
These are - hands down, no debate - the best ice cream scoops ever made. EVER! They are a cross between a traditional scoop and an ice cream spade. They dish up ice cream easier and faster than any ice cream scoop I have ever used. As spring approaches, consider picking up one of these at Target and pairing it with a gift certificate for a half gallon of that creamy frozen stuff at your local ice cream shop. Give it to someone you care about as a "Hello Spring" surprise. It would make a great Easter gift for teachers, too!

Yeah, you are right. These are great ice cream scoops! Thanks for introducing them to me about 2 years ago. I've given them as gifts many times, and I always get many compliments on the quality of them.
